At Chat Fora we have a vision to become the defacto platform for community engagement known for rich, accessible experiences. Our mission is to close the communication gap between a brand and its global community through content, discussion and debate whilst removing anti-social online behaviour.

Let’s face it, the current social media space and other text based communities are what we are used to and our normal route to finding others interested in the same subject as you. But when we really think about it, they are no more than a poor alternative to a meaningful conversation. We put up with it because it allows us to communicate and listen to people we care about or are influenced by, but we would all trade that in for a conversation with those people in an intimate, unthreatening and engaging environment.

Brands struggle too to engage with their customers and communities for the same reasons.

Everything is Comment not Conversation.

If we write a tweet to a brand’s twitter profile, it’s normally in the hope of getting a response. In other words we want a conversation. If a brand launches a new product or film or a new piece of editorial content, they want to know what people think about that. Market research and social media provides some idea but it doesn’t replace actual conversation between customers/communities/fans and being able to listen to that conversation in real-time.

Chat Fora was created to fill that gap and remove the frustrations that exist today.
